Jackie Yates Salon was established in November
1989, where we served the Duluth area for twelve years. In June 2001 Jackie
Yates Salon relocated to the Hamilton Mill area in Dacula, Ga. The Salon
has received merits for “Best in Gwinnett,” “Goldwell’s Color Alliance Salon
of North America” and has received the “Merit of Gold for Salon Color
Excellence.”
The salon takes pride in the color
services offered, and over 90% of our guests prove that excellence by
receiving color services here at Jackie Yates Salon.
The vision of relocation was prompted
by a dream to create a ministry outreach within a business industry which
seemingly has not ventured into putting the Faith back into business, which
our country’s forefathers meant it to be. The salon has only just begun to
scratch the surface of the goals we wish to accomplish.
In all that we receive, we strive in
giving back more to the community, to those in need, and to individuals that
are seeking hope.
Jackie Yates Salon’s “Ladies Night
Out” was born in 2001, where twice a year we gather women together from all
walks and denominations to witness unity, love, and hope for a better
world. We have inspirational speakers, praise and worship music
entertainers, and refreshments to create a wonderful night of inspiration
and entertainment.
Jackie Yates Salon provides financial
assistance for one needy family every quarter in provisions for life. The
salon also represents the foundation of “Locks of Love” where we give our
talents to those who give of themselves by donating their hair to children
with cancer. We donate our time for the blessing people give to children
with the loss of their hair. We continue to offer assistance to our troops
in Iraq by sending provisions to ease their rough conditions standing in the
gap for the cause of freedom all over the world. We also offer our time to
endless community charity programs in the area for all kinds of foundations
and events. We also assist the following: Global Servants a worldwide
mission team that aids persecuted children in Thailand, India, and Africa.
Women Against Domestic Violence helping to give women hope for those who
have lost all hope of love and support. We provide support to Safehouse
Outreach Ministry an inner city ministry reaching the lost and hurting of
Atlanta. We support The Georgia Men’s Advance Prison Ministry also helping
give hope to men who are incarcerated and helping them get started back in
society once they are released.
It is easy to extend an invitation to
Jackie Yates Salon and receive exceptional services through our God-given
talents in our craft, but what we strive to achieve, most of all is – HOPE!
